Got there about daylight. Went immediately over to a spot I love to fish and picked up one real quick on a reed line with a medium diving CB. About a 3 pounder. Hooked a bigger one a little further down. She was pulling like hell and got off right at the boat. Not sure how big she was, never got a look. 
Wind picked up about 8:30 or 9:00 and we spent the rest of the day trying to get out of it. Bay boat was like a sail. Managed 1 more fish later in the day on a blue fleck fluke in the big trees. Off the lake by 3 to get home to watch the game. Wind sucked, but still had fun. My fishing buddy spent the day nursing a hangover and caught one dink..
