FISHFOOD,
I was noticing that it only took 12lbs to win as a co-angler....That is sad! You had mentioned that you were going to fish it..Must of been very tough. I use to hear great things about that lake in the 70's

Boater Jim Gestwicki of Miami, Fla., won the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League Everglades Division tournament on  Saturday with a five-bass catch weighing 14 pounds.

Richard Prowant of Moore Haven, Fla., earned $1,753 as the co-angler winner Saturday thanks to five bass weighing 12 pounds, 14 ounces that he caught near river ledges on a Zoom Trick Worm.

Rolled into Okeechobee around 2:30am. Went ahead and hit the boat ramp. Crash there for a couple of hours. I was hoping to hook up with a boater for the day. I was lucky enough meet up with Bill Charland told him I would take care of his gas and dinner if I could go out with him. I end catching 3 that would have gone about 8lbs.All the fish came up in the Kissimmee River. Bill had one dink. I asked him what he plan on doing tomorrow. He said go get some those worms you got and stay on that hole all day. I gave him a pack! Fish came off a June bug worm with a 3/16 Giggy Head.

I end drawing Jeremy Prouty he said we going to make a big run down south. And we did. It took about and hour to get down there. Lake is low! When we got there .Someone was already sitting on his spot. He said we could have got a limit off that spot. The guy that was there ended up in 4th.So we hit a couple of other spot. Jeremy ended catching one on a Trap and 2 on a Giggy head. I caught one on a Giggy head. Then we made the run back up to Kissimmee River. He finished out his limit on a C-Rig and I caught one more on a Giggy Head.

Jeremy ended up in 10th and I ended up in 34th.

Bill Charland ended up in 5th. He said he caught 2 limits off the spot we per fished. And his Co Angler blanked. He said his co Angler just wouldn't slow down. Exact same baits.
something I forgot to mention .Florida had a Major Cold come in on Wednesday. It was in the 30's.Jeremy and Bill both said we were lucky to catch what we did.
Okeechobee is nothing like I thought was going to be.
But I think I know what to expect for the FLW series. There were allot of FLW boats down there practicing.

Well I off to Falcon for the Stren in a couple of hours.

Brian came out with these about 5 years ago.
Clark Wendlandt and Jim Tutt have been using these for few Years. Gambler bought the patent from Brian last year.
They work well in all condition, Grass, sand and Rock.

Good Luck
