Fished from 8:00 to 5:00 pm.

Covered a ton of water.

Launched from Arrowhead and fished up the Leon past the 36 bridge all the way back down and then up the Cowhouse arm.

The bites were sporadic but managed a solid limit.

We also had a unique opprotunity to greet wildlife face to face.

.

This was very tame and was followng the boat like somebody's pet dog.  Apparently it was somebody's pet deer.

Oh yah, these pictures were taken in the year of 2049 ::). I tried to turn the data off... go figure.

Swimmy, nice pics. I thought I saw you zoom past me today. I fished from noon 'til 6pm and had a lot of fun. I rassled with the Belton Ness Monster for a moment this afternoon. I flipped up by some cover, felt a bite, set the hook and the fight was on... momentarily. I can't imagine it was a bass. I've caught four catfish over twenty pounds while bass fishing and I "hope" that is what it was. We played tug-o-war through the sticks for a moment before my line broke. :-[ Maybe next time.

I'm Amistad bound in the morning. Gerald and I did so well last time that we didn't bother pre-fishing for this one. We're just going fun fishing!

Nothing but a totally awesome experience that must've put the icing on the day!!!

You didn't develop a sudden craving for beef jerky on the way home did you? ::)
