Always like to see clouds in the forecast. Started fishing around 9:00. Started catching right away. Saw some schooling but only caught a couple when I was able to cast into them when they were up. The schoolers are chasing tiny shad right up next to the bank. The morning bite was good...had 14 by lunch at 12:15. The afternoon was a lot slower as I only added 5 more by 3:15 and one of them was a drum. Best baits was a tie between the two hook senko (baby bass) and the Super Fluke Jr. (albino). Also caught a couple on the Ned (2.75" TRD (The Deal) with red 1/8 oz. head. I was thankful that the wind didn't blow as much as forecast, which is a rare occurrence. Usually the other way around as all fishermen know. Good day to be on the water.
