Took David(MOONRAKER) to Lake Bastrop, for his first time...All I can say is....great fall-time bass fishing. Caught a lot of bass from 14" to 18" with several bigger ones that were hooked but got off...We were using ultra-light gear so it made it interesting when a big bass got on...Fishing Flukes along edges of shoreline from 7:30am to 9am...After that it was hit and miss till noontime...

Water temp was 78 degrees and stained.. Winds from the East at 10-15mph.

Nice report Robert and a nice pic to go with it. Sounds like you and David had a good trip. Gonna take the new boat to Bastrop on Sun and take lots of pics to post up.
