The misses and I stayed at bastrop fri, sat, and sun. Friday we fished for about 2 hours, it was a pretty slow bite. Tabi caught a nice slot on a chartruse spinnerbait, over the weeds. I ended up with 2 slots on plastic worms, the biggest being 17 1/2 inches. All of the fish on friday came in 0-3 feet of water, we could not find a deep fish to bite.
Saturday we fished from 7am till the rain stopped. Once the rain stopped we were glad to get in before the wind picked up. the old lady caught 3 and I caught 6. Most of the fish were slots and there were a few dinks. We did find a nice bedded bass near the north shore. My girlfriend caught the male an I missed the female :-[Most of the fish came from the 0-10 foot range, and all were on plastic worms.
Sunday we started at 7am till 12. Since we had the cold front blow in the water was pretty murky. We fished a lot of water and bite was very slow for the first hour or two. Once it started warming up it was pretty much game on. I ended up with 14 and my girlfriend caught 3(she wasn't very happy with her results). All of the fish were on plastic worms in the 5-20 foot range, the bigger fish were deep and the dinks were shallow. The biggest one went 20 1/4 inches
