Took a day of vacation and we hit the 'trop Friday. Weather was perfect, cloudy, slight wind and a shower now and then. Had the lake pretty much to ourselves. Saw two other boats all day and one that launched right after us but he left after about an hour or two. He did come back in the afternoon.

Two of us boated 56(28 apiece) with 7 at 2+lbs. Only worked three spots and rotated among them throughout the day. Had numerous 3 casts, 3 fish and a few 2 casts, 2 fish. All on soft plastics. Water temps were 87-88 all day.

Eel grass is starting to uproot itself and all of the western shores(east wind) were clogged with mats of eel. Spiny naiad is doing very well and holding fish.
