Got out on my boat for the first time this year. I took my father in law out for a quick 2 hour trip to Bastrop.

The trip started off good as they were very aggressive. Sometimes they were attacking the senko when we were just retrieving to recast. We ended up catching 12 total. The largest probably went for around 3.5 to 4 pounds. Sorry I have no pictures. I was so excited about fishing for the first time that I left my phone in the car.

All in all a great two hours on the water

Bastrop is the bomb diggity right now, no other lake can you catch a dozen in 2 hours in Central Texas. Thanks for the report, good to hear you were able to get out.
