After being turned away at Decker due to the triathalon, we headed to Bastrop and fished from 8-12. Boated several 1-3 pounders with brush hogs and rattle snakes in the grass, then headed to the scout camp where my buddy landed this 5 lb'er on a crankbait.

You're probably the only person I've heard of catching anything thing out of that area. I've fished that area a hundered times and never caught anything. I can turn around and go to just about any other area and catch fish except in there.... Nice fish.

About a month ago i boated a 6lb 9oz pig off the small stump it the middle left in that photo.
