Cloudy, windy.
Found water temps between 58 and 64.
Fish were shallow.

First time out since shoulder surgery last October, so it was a test run.

First fish I caught was a 2.5 ... woohoo!
Second was a 2.5 ... woohoo!
Third was a 2.5 ... woohoo!
Fourth was a 4 ... woohoo!

We were out only a few hours and did ok. Ended up with 15 between the two of us. Nice chunkies all around.

It sure was nice to be back on the water and catching. Shoulder held up well but the right arm is still weak.

Now that I know I can fish again, Lake Austin had better watch out. :D

Good to hear the test run went well, and there are still eaters in the Strop!!
x2

Hope to get out there later Saturday.

Going to my daughter's backetball tourney in the morning, then plan on getting there.

Looks like another overcast day with wind starting out around 7mph going up to 15mph as the day progresses.
