Fished Bastrop with my brothers this morning from 7am - 11:30am.  Fought the rain and cold and dodged a lightning storm early.  

Hit the discharge and loaded up on the bass early throwing flukes once that bite died we moved out to the grass and wacked them on rattletraps. We found a stretch of bank that was 35 feet long that was loaded with bass and caught fish after fish.  We caught fish up until it was time to leave.

Did you launch from the North Shore ramp? If so, how have the buzzards been. I want to get out there but have been shying away due to buzzards.
