Water temp: 66, 69 at the discharge

Started out at the discharge with a couple great bites that went around 3-4 pounds each on rattlesnakes and senkos. Couldn't get them to bite flukes, cranks or topwaters. Moved to the reedline to the right of the dam and picked up 8 more on rattlesnakes. Casted into the reeds and dragged them slowly through the grass back towards the boat. Finished the day in the creeks across from the discharge and picked up two more on chartreuse/white spinnerbaits.

Not a big numbers day, but bites were quality, all ranging from 2-4 pounds.

Thanks for the report. Sounds like fish are shallow at Bastrop and Fayette right now.

We noticed the exam same pattern. We only managed 6 total, had a few short strikes on Flukes but they didn't have much interest in them beyond that (Very strange for Bastrop!). Shakeyhead Snakes seemed to do the trick, 5 of our 6 were on that setup.
