Fished the Strop yesterday evening from 6pm - 8:30pm with a buddy of mine from work and his 14 yr old son.

Nothing on the backside of the lake (Discharge) water temps insanely hot right now. Went to the front side (intake) and caught a couple of fish throwing the trap. Then switched to the wacky worm and missed a couple of fish on that and my buddy ended up catching a nice 22 inch 6.5lb bass his PB so he was excited.

No schoolies at all but atleast we managed a few fish. The rain and clouds kept it cool enough to be enjoyable.

Thanks for the report. I haven't been out there in a while. I'm just 10 min. up the road from South Shore. Good to hear somebody is catching out there. Last 2 times was a skunk for me. With the water so hot, and the luck I've had there lately, I've been focusing on other waters.

6.5 lber! Congrats to him. That's really great to hear.

Hey Roofish,  got a buddy that is a welder we are going to take a look at it together soon.  Ill let you know how it goes.

BassFantastic, Ive been pretty comitted to work and family the past month or so.  Im still around and am trying to get out as much as possible.  Miss hanging with alot of  you guys as well so Im trying to make it so I can get out more.
