The wind finally calmed down to 10 - 15 mph early Friday morning so I tried my luck at Bastrop. My partner cancelled at the last minute so I went alone. There were not many boats out and there was some schooling early. Picked up 31 on CR and topwater plastics by 9:00 AM. Most were 16 - 18"+. My trolling motor battery died shortly after I got there so my mobility was limited after that and I left early.
