Bastrop from 4:00PM to 9:00PM

Water Temp: 77 at the ramp
Visibility: 2-5 (Murky at the start and started to clear later on in the day)
Weather: Overcast 80's with a breeze 5-10 (fish slaying conditions)

Fished with good ol' Lance today, according to anyone that fishes The 'Strop we had a slow day (you Bastrop guys are SPOILED!  ;))...Managed 23 fish total with about 15 to 16 of those being solid slot fish (18-19 inch fish pretty much across the board). Also had one foul hooked turtle in the foot, the hook was removed successfully and he was released without problem.

Did witness one of the funniest things I've seen a fish do in all my years of fishing. Tied on a Spro Frog and on the first cast 3 twitches and a fish not only comes up to crush it, apparently he had a Lebron James moment and literally goes completely air-born a foot out of water, what made it worse, I'm laughing so hard I didn't even boat the fish.

Did manage one photo of each of us with 19 inchers, enjoyed it Lance (as usual)!

LOL, like the report.  Besides the frog, what are they hitting on right now?
Senko's and Flukes mostly, as aggressive as the fish are out there though you can probably throw just about anything you want at them.
