it can be crazy trying to launch, but most of the time it goes fairly smooth, I started launching at a different ramp and just running around to the official ramp
We launch at a different ramp as well. But case in point was Belton last year, when lake was up so much everyone pretty much launched from Cedar Ridge. The Bass Champs crew, assisted with everything from backing your boat down to pulling your stuck truck out. They really have it down to an art.
I'm having trouble deciphering their "no trailering rule", it says you can't, but then it says you can as long as you pass through a checkpoint. i guess i'm reading it wrong.
Matt I think it means that you can launch at any ramp you want but you have to make you way over to the start so they can check the live wells and all that good stuff.
The no trailering part means that you can not pull your boat from another ramp to the weigh in on the trailer. You can boat to weigh in from another launch.
I fished the BC tournament at Amistad solo and there were no issues. First of all you have a field of guys that are proficient at launching which is a tremendous help, and second Chad runs a pretty tight ship and the launch runs very smooth.
