I'm trying to find any tourneys to fish in July. I'm not having a whole lot of luck finding any. Anything going on in July around here that doesn't require more than an hour or two of travel?

Naw, I have no interest in the after work night tournament deals. If I wanted to do that I'd fish the TTZ Tues or Wed nighters. I'm talkin' about tourneys with a decent turn-out/pay-out (open tourneys, Fishers of Men, etc...). I haven't been fishing the TTZ Wed nighter because everyone started wussing out against the Waldrops and Brad Casebier. $200 for first split two ways with gas and entry fee hardly makes it worth it for me. They're run quite well and are quite fun, but guys needs to start showing up again. Especially since I have to take off an evening of work to fish them (I work evenings). Looks like July is pretty dead for anything else though huh?

I know what you mean that Casebier guy is really intimidating, he can do stuff with a carrot stick I ain't never seen before.
Last year Brad was building brushpiles every Wed night from the back of my boat. What a difference a year makes and getting your own boat. LOL

I know there are several boat owner circuits going on right now in Oklahoma, I'm sure there are some similar here in TX.
