73 fish brought to the scales for 254.10 lbs. and a 3.48 lb. average. 5 dead. After close investigation this morning and this evening, no others found floating or laying on the bottom. 1st through 5th are as follows :
3 fish Limit
1. Stan Gerzsenyi/Brendan Kennell - 15.69 lbs. - $1500
2. Tim Reneau/Judy Reneau - 15.52 lbs. - $600
3. Britt Gambrel / Rusty Gambrel - 14.22 lbs. - $500
4. Olin Jensen / Curt Dove - 14.20 lbs. - $400
5 . Jaime Buitran / Jaime Buitran Jr. - 13.31 lbs. - $200
32 teams accounted for the days action. I commend the teams whom let their fish go who called and found out what was the last weight to get a check before they got on trailer.
Big Bass - Tim Reneau / Judy Reneau - 6.89 lbs. $440
2nd Big Bass - Gary Schmidt / Bill Oglesby - 6.05 lbs. - $200
We thank all of you that came out and enjoyed yourselves. It was hot and the wind 10-15 sw. Most teams reported hot topwater action until around 10 A.M., at which everything shut down except for the punching hydrilla bite. See ya'll next time !
