The water has come up, but the fish haven't. It's fishing tough right now with most good fish coming out of deep grass in 20-35 fow some deeper. There is a window for topwater if conditions are right, but it is Nov. and expect atleast one cold front and windy conditions. I'd recommend a guide to show you around a little if you haven't fished there for a while.

Be careful- East or West wind on that lake with all that water you will have 5-6 foot rollers very easy. Fish out in front of Diablo East find that old hydrilla in 30 ft. Carolina rig any greens you can get. Fish the back sides of any humps right now. Those fronts coming thru tend to make those fish hold tight to structure. Here is a nine pounder my 8 year old daughter caught.
