35 entries, 8 were non-boaters.  A Non-boater was third and had big bass.  He also gets a free entry next month for being the highest finishing non-boater.  Second got some of the Texas Boat World money for buying a new boat from Texas Boat World.  Belton in March is next.

This is a draw format where boaters and non-boaters are put with each other and compete for the same prize purse. There were 26 boaters and 8 non-boaters that showed up for the season opening tournament. Fishing was tuff for Stillhouse standards, you can view a complete list of the finishing names and weights at http://www.texasboatworld.com/custompage.asp?pg=localtournaments The next ABA area 52 tournament will be on Belton Lake on March 1st, you can see from these results that there is room for non-boaters to join in. This format is a great opportunity for anglers to fish with some of the best local anglers in the area on there home waters. Some of the names of contestants at the Stillhouse tournament were, Pual Stokes, Ronnie Trower, Jeff Pitrucha, Dave Hogge, Gerald Poboril, Gilbert Miller, and Bob Babcock just to name a few, many other great local anglers also competed. We are looking forward to a much larger field at the Belton Event.
