Fished from 4am to noon in the TCBC tournament. My partner (Rick T.) and I only caught three keepers for a total of 12.34 but one of the keepers was this hog. Rick caught this hog on a black and blue jig and caught another 2.5 on a Jitterbug between 4 to 6 by the Quinlan ramp. Caught numerous dinks also before 7 then the bite shut down for us. Had to work my butt off for our third fish a 14" on a shakey baby rattlesnake by City Park. Only caught about 5 fish from 7 to noon and never went below City Park.

Nice catch! Did that one win big bass honors? LA is tough IMO...but can give you a nice surprise every now and then. I still love to fish it though...just knowing what's in there.
