See ya there, Nitro27 if you see this first before i call u. You Game.
Sounds like fun but I see a little fuzzy math in play here...

HOW MUCH - $100.00 PER TEAM WITH AN 80% MINIMUM PAY OUT
I take that to mean the following:

%80 payout total to the field, so %20 to the touranment directors and expenses for hosting.
10% goes to the big bass pot

1st is %50 of the remaining 70%
2nd is %30 of the remaining 70%
3rd is %20 of the remaining 70%

For every team $100 team entered, $20 goes to the expenses.
$10 goes to big bass
Remaining $70 is split into
1st $35
2nd $21
3rd $14

If I got it wrong please let me know. I just want to understand the math behind the payouts.
100 boats = $1400 for 3rd is not bad at all. ;D

Good question.  I'm sure Cliff or one the guys will post up.

After reading it again I interepted it to be:

80% payout from total entry revenue taken in
-1 place paid per every 10 boats
-not sure what the percentage payout per place is for 2nd thru the remaining places
-1st place paid $5000 garaunteed (sponsor paid money?)

10% going to the director / hosting

10% going to the big bass pot which is 100% payout for big bass pot to paid to the top 3 big bass
(1st big bass 50%)
(2nd big bass 30%)
(3rd big bass 20%)

Also just a little feedback on the times.  You may considder moving the weigh-in time to be closer to 1:00.

By May 31st the bite is early and dead by 11:30 unless you get some rain or good cloud cover.  If it's sunny at all at 3:00 PM it's scorching hot and you're more likely to kill a bunch of fish.

RudeHo225 in short this is how it goes 1st $5000 is guaranteed that won't change regardless of the amount of boats that enter.

One place paid for every ten entries that is determined by the # of boats entered.

Big Bass $10 from each entry 50, 30, and 20% is guaranteed 100% payback again depend on the # of boats entered.

If something is still not clear please don't hesitated to send a email or call me. Roger 254-833-4109

Good point Clint I'll have to discuss this with my club.

This is Roger from Dell give me a call I have a few questions maybe we can do lunch. 254-833-4109
Clint B, moon tables are only a guide line.  If they we're perfect I don't believe FOM would have had the number of 5 fish limits in our last two tournaments, about 85 to 90% of teams fishing. These tournaments were held on the "worst" fishing days of the month according to the tables in BASSMASTER magazine.

Also, the Big Bass at Belton and Stillhouse were caught about 2:30 p.m.

See the posting for Tournament care of fish in the Tips and Techniques section of this forum.

For my two cents I like a 3pm check in just fine.

Good fishing,
Jeff
I have to agree with Jeff on this one. On Saturday Swimbait and I had a small limit about 12-13 lbs in the livewell at 1:30 or so. For the last hour & a half of the tournament we were on the cull-beam non-stop and ended up culling every single one of those fish and ended up with almost 19 lbs.
Ok but I think the wind and clouds made the difference.

The time for the tournament is safe light-3:00 so I am assuming everyone will leave from the marina at safe light. Will this be done by flight numbers and if so will the boat numbers be issued at registration?
TxRanger everyone will be launching from the Island View Pavilion next to the marina. Anglers will draw launch number at the check in. Give me a call if you have any questions. 254-833-4109

One more thing you can launch from any boat ramp and motor to the Pavilion. We have permission from the Corp of Engineers to open up River's Bend and Union Grove's entrance gates early between (4:00-4:30). We have the combinations for the lock/gate.

Roger
FYI It took over 34lbs to win. 29lbs was 2nd. 27lbs was third (Go Duke!!!).
Me and Nitro Shane picked up 4th place with 21.75 pounds..................wow, what a lake, only my 2nd time and Nitro's 3rd time on Stillhouse...........there were some nice fish brought in............congrats to duke for 3rd place.  Caught all of ours on "light" line........pretty exciting trying to play a 6 lb. and an 8lb. pounder on 8 pound test................thanks to Nitro for a great day.
