LT? Are you sure you have the right lake? :p Wow, this sounds awesome. I can't wait to see pics.

Did you say this was caught from the bank on LT? Where? Cypress? That is just nuts from the bank. Give you buddy a big pat on the back from me!

Re: GIANT AT LAKE TRAVIS!!!

What a last couple of days! I have been listening to people tell me that there aren't alot of big fish it Travis. I stuck a 7 and change yesterday and then a 12lb 14oz DONKEY today. I thought I had a Share Lunker, my cul-m-rite said 13.05lb. Thanks RDH for comming down and waiting with me till fish and game (share lunker)showed up. Also btmbass, sorry about the frantic phone call. I will tell the story and post pics soon. My hands are still shakey.

Sweet!  Congrats on pulling a gargantuan Lake Travis bass.  Man, too bad about the 2 oz. but still a stellar catch.  Worthy of a replica for sure, espcially considering where you caught it.

Quick question.  I'm curious about what happens once you call the Share-A-Lunker guys.  Were they local?  How long did it take for them to get to you?

Congrats again,

Rude

I called them and got a message recording. They called back within 2 minutes. He told me he was on his way from Athens and it would take him 3 1/2 hours to get here. He said he was going to call someone from San Marcos to come up as well. He told me how to care for the fish so she would'nt die and he called me every 30 min to see what the fish's condition was. Really nice guys.

Congratulations on your catch.

I also liked how they called about your fish every thirty min. and they told you how to care for it. Great story.

Awesome catch! Congratulations. There are a few huge bass in Travis. We had a 10 1/2 caught a few months ago by our marina.
