I hate to say it, but I'm moving away from Austin to head to Portland for law school.  As such, I am unable to take my new boat with me, so I must sell it.

The boat is a Flat Skiff 12, designed by Jacques Mertens.

Stats on the boat:
Length (LOA) = 11' 7"
Max beam = 4'
Max HP = 5hp (will move at displacement speed with a 2hp though. 2-3hp is ideal for power/weight ratio)

It is a flat bottom displacement boat. It will not plane. It is made of Meranti 6566 marine-grade plywood, covered in high-quality epoxy resin, then marine primer and paint.
Being wood, it is more customizable and lighter than unsightly aluminum boats. All 3 seats have large openings for convenient storage.

The trailer was bought used for use with the boat, so little is known about it. It needs a little work to get legal (trailer lights, new spare), but it holds the boat and rides fine.
=Neither the boat nor the trailer have ever been licensed, titled, or registered. They are both considered homemade, so whoever gets this deal will register them as such. Per Texas law, if the boat is given a motor of any sort (including trolling motor, which is what my plan was) then it must be registered. If you choose to put oarlocks on it and use it as a rowboat, no paperwork needed.

I'll throw in a 1940 3.2hp Champion Motor as well.  The motor doesn't run.  It turns freely and can produce electrical current.  I don't know if the sparkplug needs to be replaced or what, but if you buy the boat and you want it, it's yours.

For folks on this forum, I'm asking $1050 OBO.

Can't get these to post up correctly, so here are the links to some pics.

Time is running out for me to do something with this. I'm lowering the price to $650 OBO. That's less than the materials for just the boat, and you get the trailer with it! Also throw in the PFDs.
