Dear Fish Enthusiasts:

KLBJ FM’s Dudley and Bob Morning Show has once again partnered with the 100 Club of Central Texas to host the 5th Annual Fishing Tournament. Scheduled for September 19, 2009, the event will be held at Jones Brothers Park (north shore of Lake Travis) in Jonestown, Texas. The proceeds of this tournament help families of First Responders (Law Enforcement Officers, Fire Fighters, and Emergency Medical Technicians) who are critically injured or killed in the line of duty.

To register, please click on the link below. If you have additional information, please refer to our website www.100clubcentex.com or give us a call at 512-345-3200.

Last year 177 teams participated. With KLBJ’s involvement, we expect even more this year and great prizes, too!

Remember, the earlier you enter, the lower your team number will be. The lowest team numbers will be at the beginning of the line to weigh their catches. The highest team numbers will have to wait in line longer, or be given later weigh-in times. So don’t let “tardy” make you less “hardy!” Register Now!

Stay cool!

Sincerely,

Larry York

Fishless and I fished it last year and it was a great event for a great cause. We are probably going to fish it again this year, but we are going to hold off on registering until it gets closer to the event. If Travis gets as low as some are predicting it might, I don't think I would want to be out there. I wonder what they are going to do if Jones Brothers isn't open by the time of the tournament. I just hope we can get some rain so the fall tournaments on Travis can happen. I know FOM usually has an open on Travis in the fall also. Thanks for posting up the details Robert.

If we don't get any rain Travis is going to be a stream.
Wasn't it in 1991 when Travis was 40 or 50 feet low?
Is the 100 club centex the same as the Tx100 fishing club?

They were talking briefly about this the other day on the radio. If Travis get much lower that they might launch from another place or move it to another lake.
