I'm going to figure out Austin, I bought some banjo minnows, a flying lure, and some Dancin Eels, I'm going to make it happen!

Once they get locked in on the Dancin eel bite I'm going to win 10 events in a row. #unstoppable

I actually think I could catch fish with this, it's just an ugly tube.

I was able to get out on Georgetown yesterday for some exploring and practice. The sun was high and it was fairly still. The water was off color where I fished with the exception of the upper river past the low water crossing. Up there the water was clear, 68, with current and the fishing was tough. I found a school of around 10 bass and only got one of them to bite, they could see me too. I did have some luck in the dirty water. Most of what I fished was 74 degrees with 1 foot +/- of clarity. One was caught on a jig, six on a Texas rig, two on a fluke, and one on a frog. I love the frog bite but I threw it a lot to get 2 blow ups and one bass at 16". I caught fish in 2' and 15' deep water. The better bite was in 15' but the bigger fish were in much less. I didn't catch any over 18" but I did manage six between 15 - 16.5", yes I measured them. I also caught four that were in that perfect 13.5 - 13.9" range. All fish were really healthy and a couple were the short and fat 16"+ footballs that approached 3 lbs. I also missed two bites on a jig, they were just spitting it too soon I guess. All in all a pretty fun trip! I sure hope the sun is out Thursday!

If I catch a limit on Austin this week I'm going to break dance on the picnic table.

Well there were no pictures to upload so I was able to get the results page built very quickly. You can see the results on the TTZ homepage until the Austin tournament starts tomorrow.

    Or you can go here:

Again, sorry no pictures the guys were just trying to get weighed-in and out of the storm as quickly as possible.

Looks like this weather is going to blow through, suppose to be 70 with very little wind tonight. Might get chilly as the sun goes down, don't forget your TTZ hoodies!
