    Crappie House

I guess a "crappie house, or crappie platform", is what they are called. I have never heard of one being on Lake Travis, but would like to have a place where I could fish for crappie in winter without a boat. Does anyone know if there is one on Travis?

There's one in Lago Viosta but it's part of the POA. So you need to live out there or entice me with beer and bait

Out of curiosity, does it fish well in the winter?

I believe there's a floating covered fishing dock in Bee Creek Cove -- owned by Rod and Gun Club.

I honestly don't know, I just moved out here a few months ago. But considering the POA hit me up for a few extra bucks aside from everything else, just to be able to use it, I assume that it does produce, and I plan to find out! It looks good, its well built and has good lights.

If anyone figures the crappie out on Lake Travis let me know! I am willing to offer beer, money or brush pile locations on Marble falls, Georgetown and Granger in exchange. I live closest to Lake Travis and have only caught a few undersized crappie in the last 2-3 years of fishing Travis. So frustrating because I know they have to be hiding somewhere!!
