Lake Travis full by July 4

Looks like a change from our usual summertime warm-water baits might be in order.

Son, we live in a world with lakes, and those lakes have to be guarded by men with fishing rods.

For the North Shore, Annual passes are on sale for Jones Bro. Park. Don't know how much yet, but I'll find out soon enough.

Was told annual passes will be $50.00 for resident and $100.00 for non-resident by one of the park staff last week.

If that's the case, it hasn't changed. Good to see. I can burn $100 bucks in ramp fees in month.

FWIW, a year's pass at the Lake LBJ marina is $200 now, up from $100 a year ago. Daily it's $10, previously $5.

Am I wrong, or is it that, compared to the quality of access on Lake Travis, LBJ is underserved by good quality ramps, given its size? The Kingsland ramp is hazardous to just launching safely, and there's several ramps in Granite Shoals I've been to that are problems to put in when fishing solo. Where do most of y'all launch when hitting LBJ?
