I have been in a ton of bay boats and sold my Shallow Sport a year or so ago (back to a bass boat) both of the above boats are great I have been in the Haynie and Explorer not the JH. Another GREAT riding boat is a Pathfinder their 24 footer is the best riding bay boat I have ever been in. The 20' is a sweet ride too.

haynie is another that im looking at too.
theres a few other things that im not sure about tho. like "draft" and "hole shot". i keep seeing these words but have no idea what they mean??? im sure shuffling through 10 different boat styles of the 20 different quiality boat makers would be a little easier if i knew what any of this stuff was???!?!?!!

If you aren't interested in skinny water, then you don't need a tunnel. Blue Wave is all around good boat. So are all the others. After having the boat I have I would love to have a larger deck and rod/other storage would be must haves for me. Also, little things like two coolers. One for beer (the big one) and one for the fish I catch (small one) would be nice. Self bailing is nice.
If you haven;t already done so, go to all the local boat dealers and look at their inventory. At least it will give you an idea and may help narrow down your choices. Custom made boats will hold thier value longer I believe.

That Pathfinder says it will run in a foot of water. Damn nice boat!!! I am on the fence about whether I want the T-Top though. Chrismunn now you got me shopping!!!It is imperative to remain confident in your abilities when the bullets are flying.

as im looking closely at what it costs to buy new and what comes standard on a boat, i feel like it would be well worth it to go ahead and drop the extra however many ?$thousands$? on some of the optional upgrades.
while having a seat back to lean on doesnt seem like much, im sure its something really nice to have when you've been out all day runnin'/fishin'! or having lockable rod storage in the deck. deffinitly worht the extra to have put on!
