What would make my engine surge at 3500 rpm? Bad gas, too much stabil? It runs great at all other rpm ranges. It acts like it wants more fuel or is getting too much. this is the first time it has done this, i just put fresh fuel in on the way to the lake.
Lots of little things can contribute to an angine surge but the 1st thing I would check is a leak in the fuel line and the 2nd thing is to change your plugs. No I'm not a mechanic but this has worked for me in the past. Good luck and get back with us when you find out what it was
