Up North Bass are finally turning on
It has been a tough bite most of the summer. But they are finally moving onto the humps. Still hard to catch even though my Live Scope has been showing lots of fish right under the boat. Day before my birthday I managed to catch 20 - all on a marabou jig. They were so fussy but will get less picky as water heads toward 50 F. My best day so far this year was in APRIL. We had to dodge ice that hadn't melted yet but ended up with 104 bass. But things went downhill after that. Even the tourney guys had trouble this year.
I will be back in Texas when the lake freezes over up here. Save some bass for the Cap.
