langlowe9 and I put in pre-dawn and made our first run with nav lights on. I got a strike on TR 10.5" worm at the first spot but other than that the morning bite escaped us.
The sun came up and we worked an outside edge with soft plastics. We caught lots of keeper unders, which we threw back, of course. We kept an eye peeled for schooling but never saw any.
We made the rounds on the big motor and graphed a little before settling in on the main lake hump. We drop-shotted and Texas-rigged the hydrilla. Again, we caught unders, enough to hold us on this spot for a couple hours.
All in all a satisfying day. Plastics that worked included 'Ol Monster, Trick, Fluke, Senko, Ned and Robo. The best plastic was the TR Zoom Watermelon Seed Lizard. Off at 1:30pm.
