LPf 5/14/19 Pfour Days in a Row
Saturday was tough fishing, but I caught four squeaker cutie-pies through five hours of grinding. Saturday night I cut off just about everything and downsized, thinking this was the key.
Sunday was a four-hour Mother's Day trip with my brother from another mother langlowe9. He didn't get the downsizing memo. While I blanked, he consistently caught nice fish from the front of the Pond Prowler. He offered me a similar lure, but I pridefully resisted until the last hour when I accepted his offer but it was too late. Sunday night I went to Academy and got the magic bait.
Monday I dropped in about 4:30 PM. I have a pinched nerve in my left (casting) shoulder but I wanted some bites. The new lure didn't disappoint: I got six in the boat and six lost boatside. Nice!
Today was a beautiful Texas May spring day: overcast, light rain, light ENE breeze. I dropped in around 4:00 PM and within minutes boated a five. Sweet! I looped around, came back through and boated a four, Cowabunga! My shoulder absolutely on fire, I pressed on by pivot casting and forearm casting. Of course setting the hook and horsing them in took both arms. Where's my bottle of ibuprofen!
First pic from Monday. Then the five and four. Last pic is of a largemouth fry choking down a minnow. Largemouth bass are awesome!

Gonna have to give this report 1 star.
Failing to name and show pics of the lure is wrong.
