    Lake Austin Grass/Hydrilla

Met a guy at Decker launch ramp recently that said grass was coming back in Lake Austin. Haven't fished LA in at least a year. Last time I was there, hungry grass carp were thick and a blade of grass wouldn't have lasted a second. Has anything changed, or is it still the baren desert, totally clean of vegetation?

Using a C-rig I pulled up a big piece of hydrilla and chunked it back into that spot immediately. I could feel the vegetation, wham a big fish hit my bait and I felt something poking my right ribs. Your mumbling and keeping me awake. Of course that was my wife and I was dreaming of hooking fish on LA about 3 years ago when there was grass. There is no vegetation in LA.

I once had a dream that there was a beautiful lake full of natural vegetation called Lake Austin then I had a nightmare that it was just a big mud bowl with a ridiculous amount of wake boats on it. Then I realized the latter was real life

There's lots of grass on LA, just not in the water, it's on the wake boats...

I bet they are all so stoned they miss weigh-in. LOL
The fact that there a Highway to Hell and only a Stairway to Heaven says a lot about expected traffic numbers...
