Belton Boat Ramp Access
*Buchanan Dam Ramp Located at the east side of Buchanan Dam.
From Burnet, take Texas 29 to Highway 690. No entry fee required.
*Burnet County Park Located off FM 2341 on the east side of the
lake around mid-lake. No entry fee required. Usually open during period of
low water.
*Thunderbird Lodge Located off FM2341 on the east side of the
lake. Well protected from the wind. $5 entry fee. Live bait and gas

*Colorado Bend State Park Located in the river above the
reservoir, west of Lampasas and southeast of San Saba. From the intersection
of highways 281 and 183 in Lampasas, take FM 580 west 24 miles to Bend and
follow signs 4 miles to park entrance. From San Saba, take US 190 about 4
miles to FM 580 and follow signs 13 miles to Bend. The headquarters and main
camping are 6 miles past the entrance on the gravel road (unmarked County
Road 442). The road is subject to flooding. Entry fee required.
*Cedar Point From Llano take FM 2241 and turn north at Bluffton.
Go approximately 4 miles and turn right on FM 3014, then go .3 mile to the
main site entrance. From Buchanan Dam take Highway 261 to Bluffton and
follow the same directions.
*Llano County/Black Rock Park Located in the southwest corner
of the lake, well protected from the wind. From Austin, take Texas 71 west
to Marble Falls, turn north on US 281 and west on FM 1431. Follow road to FM
261, turn left and continue approximately half a mile to the park entrance
on your right. Ramp is in county park; no entry fee required.
