TTZ Lake Travis Tournament – 2/4/2012
Our season opener will be on Lake Travis out of Tournament Point on Feb 4, 2012. TTZ will be camping out at Tournament Point the Friday before the tournament and will have several 4WD vehicles and tow straps to assist with launching boats. Dink Pearson is also launchable with 2WD vehicles and Highland Lakes Marina (on the lower end in Volente) still has a public ramp in the water.
Online registration via credit card (until midnight Friday Feb 3, 2012), official entry form and complete rules are available on the site through this link: TTZ Tournament Trail
You may also register at Fish Finders in Round Rock until the close of business Friday Feb 3, 2012. We will be taking registrations in person at Tournament Point beginning at 6 pm on Friday and the morning of the tournament (CASH ONLY at the ramp). Early draw for boat launch will begin Friday evening for those that want to come out to Tournament Point and pre-register.
The TTZ Trail has also been sanctioned for the Skeeter Real Money, BPS Tournament Rewards and Legend Advantage incentive programs; on top of our MINIMUM $3,000 first place prize, eligible owners may win up to an extra $5,000 in a qualified boat!
Lake Travis will be off limits beginning midnight Sunday, Jan 29 until the morning of the tournament. Any questions please call the following:
Brian Booker – (512) 761-2426
Andy Nuyen – (713) 291-4119
Robby Crabb – (512) 269-9585
See everyone next weekend!

So just to clarify I can fish this Sunday until midnight, or do you mean Sunday at 12:01AM the fish ban starts?
I got the glory, I got the fame, the money, the jewels, the cash, the Tundra, getting drunk on the reg, good times on the reg, pontoons on the reg, sex on the reg.

Never mind I found the answer stated more clearly in the rules:
All TTZ regular season events have a 5 day off limits period, which consists of the Monday-Friday prior to the tournament. No contestant may be on designated tournament waters for any reason during the official off limits period.I got the glory, I got the fame, the money, the jewels, the cash, the Tundra, getting drunk on the reg, good times on the reg, pontoons on the reg, sex on the reg.

Sorry AJ, the astute accountant for TTZ has been knee deep in Kentucky deluxe Bourbon and an on line gambling bender since making this post. But regardless, you are correct, fish all Sunday, but can't fish Monday - Friday.

So I have a question that probably most can answer. If I just want to fish one or two of these with one of my sons, can I? Or do I need to fish all of these. I was thinking the LA and the LBJ maybe, LT might be too soon to talk momma into it, and plus last tournament I sucked really bad at Travis. I am sure it says in the rules but not too sure. It saves a little money and I would love to start getting them involved, even though we will be learning together. I still get a little nervous about the bigger tourneys.
