TTZ Lake Travis Tournament – 2/4/2012

A lot of our team will be camping out Friday night and I am checking with the Travis County Park District Manager to confirm the burn ban. Either way we'll have a couple propane grills going Friday so anyone that wants to come join us bring some meat and a cooler...it's definitely going to be a pre-party before the TTZ season officially kicks off!

We'll also have several 4wd vehicles with chains to assist with launch/loading and will have sections marked off and lit to designate prime launching areas in the morning. At weigh-in we'll be serving you guys Meyer's Elgin sausage with all the fixings and are working on some snacks to hand out at registration (chips and granola bars...not Scooby Snacks, sorry Dez and John!).

Looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend, this should be a pretty big tournament but will have the relaxed feel of a Wed Nighter.

Sounds like there's a pretty good chance of rain. I have a 10x20' cover, should I bring it along. Easy ups might be in order too..

Oh and I'll bring some snacks of the Scooby variety...

Anybody need a partner for this Saturday on Travis? I've got a boat if u wanna go that route....either way is fine with me. Sorry if this shoulda been in the non-boater section, but technically I'm not a non-boater. (Requirements: Must be a decent stick . I plan on putting in at dink, unless we use your boat. PM me. Thx.

Entry fee is $150. per tournament , there is also a one time fee of $35. per person membership fee . There is no place to launch on Tournament Point , The adjacent point to the North (mudd) is ok but only with 4wd . I strongly reccomend 2wd go to Dink Pearson or Highland Lake Marina in Volente . Jon Jackson and I will be there to guide and assist the launch from the bank . DG
