Shakey Head, dropshot and weightless flukes are the only thing I use on a spinning reel.

I've got 4 spinning rods that I keep in the boat. Here's the break-down of what I use them for:

    1) Drop-Shot
    2) Shaky Head
    3) Skipping weightless plastics under docks/trees
    4) Other misc lightweight applications (often times small plastics on light jigheads...ex. grubs & tubes)

I took all spinning rods out of my boat over 2 years ago and havent missed them at all. They are easier for skipping under docks though.

I only have one in the boat. In addition to skipping, I use it in strong wind situations, when I can't cast a baitcaster into the wind.
