Best way to rig swimbaits?

I'm trying to use swimbaits more this year. When I use hollow body swimbaits like money minnows, etc I have a heck of a time trying to keep them running properly and not just spinning. I've tried weighted hooks and also adding a small 1/16 or 1/8 bullet sinker. When I can keep them running properly I'm catching fish...

I'd welcome tips/advice on the best way to get them to run correctly.

Sometimes I run mine with a barrel swivel like you would a cr but without the weight.

I like to take some sharp scissors and cut into the belly of a hollow swimbait, and put a hook with the weight wrapped around the hook I forget the name of those types of hook. Then I slide the front of the hook through the nose of the swimbait so that i dont make a big hole in the swimbait by pulling the hook through the nose of the swimbait, by doing this it will make the swimbait last longer as well as swim better. Then I just push the sharp end of the hook through the top of the swimbait and then hook it under the plastic to make it weedless. I saw it on a tv show once, but i have had pretty good luck with it on travis, bastrop, choke, and austin. Hope this helps
