LT MAY1 Mansfield Dam

Finally got a chance to get my new boat out on Lake Travis. Launched at Mansfield dam at 6PM, fished till dusk.
Concentrated on the back side of Sometimes Island, trolled all the time.
Easier to hold a beer that way!

Ended up with 6 Nice Whites to 15inches and 2 LMB's to 16.
Nothing picture worthy, but it made for a nice fish fry.
Trolled Bomber deep divers, see below.


One of the LMB's had a large sore on the top of his head.
He was the 16 incher but could not have been much over a pound.
Very skinny and anemic looking.
Didn't know wether to kill it or release it, opted to release it.
Who know it could recover and be a 13lber one day.
