    Striper tip of the Day...

I don't know what it is about this song but when it gets slow we crank up this song and 9 out of 10 times the fish turn on and we get bit. Sat. everytime we played it we got a hook up. However playing consitantly doesn't work. You need about a 15-20 minute break in between. Sounds crazy but the fish like the beat to this song.

let my lame ass chime in here. I can't stand listening to music when fishing unless maybe it's some one really, really good like REK, bingham, or jerry jeff. I'm usually in a really good mood because I am fishing and don't want a sad or happy love song to influence in any way. Cause most songs are about love, unless it's heavy metal, then it's about hate. leave that radio off and concentrate on dead sticking! When not fishing, all I listen to these days when driving is jeff ward on klbj am. I turn pandora on if I have house guests.

Matt, I don't like to listen to music while I am bass fishing. Especially shallow water. It distracts me and I feel that it can't be good for the fishing. Waterninja insists on blaring Bob FM while we fish and it drives me nuts.
