So a fluorescent tube would be the better way to go for night fishing?

IMO I wouldn't want a glass tube that's easily damaged on a yak. I would go green myself..

Hummm....Those green LED's are way to bright though (That's a good thing for visibility....just not what I'm looking for) and I feel like it would hurt vision and depth perception. I'm not using it as any type of a fish attractant......just for line visability and in the event I use a glow in the dark braid at night.

Hey dez pm me some info on your lights for night fishing when you get a chance. I'm tired of the shitty ones from academy.
