Screwed up situation for Michael.
RIP Cisco. This is going viral. Michael is not seeking compensation, he is just trying to stop this from happening again.
When dogs are fear biters they are usually not suitable for work or protection duties. When armed authorities are 'fear' shooters, they should receive proper training or be restricted from handling weapons with deadly capabilities. Just saying..Last edited by Cudakilla; 04-16-2012 at 05:06 PM.

well there's one version of the story. If they were at the wrong address though, that is pretty sad

Paxton’s neighbors, Jesus Rivas and Maria Hernandez, were the people the that the police officer was intending to make contact with. The two admit to fighting and that someone had called police and reported that the couple were involved in domestic dispute. Officers found them after Cisco had been killed.
“I only heard one shot, a loud boom. They shot the dog. The police officer looked nervous and scared. He was pacing in front of the house. When they found me I asked them what happened to the dog, they told me to stand right there and be quiet.” Rivas said.
“They (the officer) went to the wrong address and shot the dog, looking for me.”

They were in his yard playing frisbee when the cop pulled up to the wrong address and pulled a gun on the dogs owner. When the dog approached and barked at the cop he shot it. What a POS and typical of Acevedos henchmen. They do that shit cause they get away with it. There is no accountability with this police state he has created. This ain't the Austin I moved to 20 some odd ago...

He walked up and pulled his gun on a neighbor for no reason then shot his dog and the Supervisor just said tough shit buddy, wrong place wrong cop...
That's the mentality that is destroying the cops ability to serve in their community. If the people are scared and hate you, your job is naturally going to be more dangerous and difficult. Fire the city council (Mike Martinez first) and get some folks in there that care about Austin and the people living here..

Watch 24 tonight for coverage. I'm still waiting to hear the other side of the story. It could very well have been me in that situation and my dog is 150 lbs more scary than a blue heeler.13mths_1.jpg

I don't think anything surprises me anymore when it comes to APD.
