Looking like a bad ass - Tuff Skinz motor covers

Awhile back I posted an issue/question about losing RPM's when running with a Tuff Skinz motor cover on my 2007 Merc. Optimax 250...so I sent inquiry to Tuff Skinz.
They asked me for a pic of my motor cowling, then another with the Tuff Skinz on, and an hour later they have the latest and greatest Tuff Skinz motor cover designed specifically for my motor in the mail for over night delivery free of charge!
I didn't even buy the motor cover, it was on my boat when I baught it. They said I couldn't be out there running trying to look like a bad ass with a motor cover that was not designed for my motor..the one I had was designed for an earlier model Optimax.

They threw in some protoype reel covers for me to try for my troubles as well. That is customer service.

Exactly, who cares how well you do something. it's all about looking good while you do it.

Ha, I've been a Yamaha guy for a long time. My last 2 boats had Yamaha's on them, and there is a huge difference in how these motors run. I couldn't believe it. The Yamaha screams out of the hole compared to the Merc, but the Merc is real reponsive once she gets going. I was looking for a Yamaha HPDI and looked at probably 40 boats, and 90% of them had replaced the power head at least once. I could not believe how many Skeeters I had came across with a blown HPDI power head. being a die hard Skeeter lover, I still could not bring myself to buy one with an HPDI on it. I know allot of people have had great success with thier HPDI's, but apparantley they are not selling them.

Go read the Yamaha forum over on BBC, unless you own an HPDI, then you may just get sick to your stomach.
