End of October and no Salt Reports. Pathetic.

I'm heading to Arroyo for 6 days on the 24th. Will report back. We found a great little place at a great price.

Luck wished.... Heading to Arroyo Monday for 6 days. The owner of the place we are staying at sez the the trout in the ditch are thick right now, especially under lights. He also sez that the snook fishing is excellent under the docks and mangroves. Yesssss.

Ken... This place we are staying at might be worth your time in future trips. Take your skiff.

went to POC and seadrift the last 2 days. Fished POC yesterday evening and it was slow. I casted to tailing reds and they would not hit gulp or topwater. That was a first. I saw Doug's POC report from yesterday confirming slow conditions. Things were a little better over at Seadrift. Fall pattern starting to evolve with birds working over schools of trout-(baby trout) and the shrimp migration starting. I found a backlake with trout gorging on shrimp and picked up a few keepers there and caught a couple of reds. Seems like we caught tons of (Louisiana keepers), but did end up coming home with a nice little bag of fish

Simple. Find the bait and you'll find the fish. Me, my brother, and a buddy caught these yesterday in San Antonio Bay.

Some fine looking fish there. Might be headed to Rockport with the wife this weekend but I got one eye on the weather. Fri/Sat don't look too good. Might be my last chance for a while as we're expecting baby #1 in 5 weeks
