    Cabo San Lucas Blue Marlin

    Here's a video I threw together of my wife's marlin from a couple weeks ago.



    Also fished Freeport/Galveston area for tarpon last week for 4 days. Didn't see silver the entire time... that's my report.

    Bro... that is so bad ass. I'm incredibly jealous!
    The fact that there a Highway to Hell and only a Stairway to Heaven says a lot about expected traffic numbers...

    One was a marlin flag, and the other was a release flag. They fly the flags on the way in to let the other boats know what they caught.

    awesome! That's cool they let her fight it. I was in Guatemala back in March and they reversed the boat each time you fight a fish. The boats down there compete for numbers of sailfish and marlin

    Yeah Matt, the fight lasted over an hour. We never had to back down on it, but it was just stubborn. It was within 30 yards of the boat for more than half the fight...
