Yamaha 150 Vmax problem
Hey guys,
My '04 Yammie starts fine and gets on plane with no problem. When accelerate past 4O mph, the motor starts to lag and seems starving for gas/oil? I put in new gas, spark plugs and primer bulb. What's the deal?

This same thing happened to my dads's boat. He said there was a schraeder valve at top the tank that get's clogged. Take the hose off the tank, bypass that valve and reinstall. Should be good to go. the valve is right at the top of the tank. Might even be the pickup at top of tank.

Is it an EFI? If so you probably need to change out your fuel pump assemblies.
