Big Props!!

I have done some looking around and for whatever reason, I can't find the prop selector I previously used. Nonetheless, because of the age of the boat (I have the same problem) finding correct specs is a crap shoot. But here is what I found:

115HP Johnson FastStrike has a 5500 WOT and you are currently running about 5800. You could add more pitch and drop your RPM's but you will also suffer hole shot. Each pitch you go up, you will lose 150-250RPM's. Sounds like you are pretty close with the prop you have but it may need more "cup".

If you are looking to add hole-shot, I would start with a 20P 4-Blade and go from there. I think if you try a larger prop, you will lose top end and not be able to reach WOT. With the correct prop, you should be able to slightly exceed your WOT, so in your case, 5600-5700 RPM.
For example, my boat can turn a 25P 3-Blade but when I run a 4-Blade, it prefers a 23P and I reach roughly the same RPM's.

It never hurts to try that spare 21P prop you have to see how your boat will react. You should download that GPS App I was telling you about so you can get real numbers to test with. Unless you have hard numbers (rpm and speed) you will be wasting your time.

That sounds awesome. I AK gonna put that 4 blade on for the wed lighter and see what happens then I will go from there. I downloaded a speedometer app and on the way back to 360 I was at 44 mph.
