    Lake Austin Success - 4/8/17

No it's not a typo. My buddy and I had some success night fishing some lights on LA Saturday night. Caught mine dragging a finesse jig & worm and it was just under 3.6 pounds. His was 5.9 and was caught on a shad colored crank. Both within 10 mins of each other. After we snagged them we shot up some grass carp via bow and arrow.

OH side story. So we're fishing a nice light and these two guys come down from the house and threaten us with an AR-15 for absolutely no reason. Makes you realize there are sketchy people everywhere even in a 5 million dollar home on Lake Austin. Have to be on high alert at all times. Especially at night. MAKE LAKE AUSTIN GREAT AGAIN.

Think I would report actions such as those to APD.

It's been reported. The green light location is below. I'd avoid it.

Reminds me of the time Jukebox got his crankbait stuck on Dell's dock and ended up with laser dots on their chests. Good catch......too bad this is the new level of success in Lake Austin....In 2013 2014, if your fish wasn't over nine, it didn't make the monthly lunker board
