lake austin- 2/4

looks lake austin is finally starting to pick up. i always lose faith by the end of winter, and one good day restores my confidence. havnt had that day yet though lol. does any one know where they go in the winter? i havnt fished deeper than about 16 feet, but i have some deep spots i might hit today. the last week i have been catching small limits but i havnt found any sort of pattern, just catching 2.5lb clones mostly on boat docks and grasslines. i even saw a little male on bed, didnt bother him though. the only thing i havnt done is throw a big swimbait, i really am looking for consistency, any advise?

I was out 5 days ago and caught 11 fish along the steep banks on a crank. Went out this afternoon and recorded my first ever skunk on LA. Not to mention, I broke the lip off the crank I was catching fish on last time.

I had 3-4 bites on a 12" junebug worm, but when I set the hook, they were tearing the worm in half. Unfortunately I couldn't get any bites on smaller worms.
